An Overview of Deionized Water Filtration
Deionized water is water that no longer has any minerals. This would include elements from calcium, iron, sodium and copper, to name a few. This process uses ion exchange resins that get rid of the mineral salts. Ion exchange resins are replacements for hydrogen, potassium or sodium ions that are in the water.
These salts are also dissolved. Therefore, the water has a high quality of purity. This setting is almost like distilled water, but it doesn’t contain buildup. This process also does not lessen the amount of organic molecules. (Read More »»»)
